We hope you enjoyed yourselves last night at Klas, it was quite a night full of awesome music and a lot of energy! We really wanted to thank all of those that supported us yesterday night as well, we had a really fun time playing for everyone and we hope to be doing it once again real soon (awesome "cell phone light show" that was going on by the way, we really enjoyed it!). We also wanted to give one last "thank you" to Waterlife Music for making yesterday night possible, without them we wouldn't of had such a cool night filled with incredible local music. We just wanted to give a quick thanks to everyone that came out and supported us and the other bands performing at the Lodge yesterday. We had quite a fun time as that was the first time we've ever performed there (we even made a few friends and will hopefully be performing with them soon again). We were also given the offer to record our whole set in HD and we said: "...well..why not". We'll be posting that sometime soon. Thanks again guys, we greatly appreciate it.

Battle of the Bands: The Nite Light Cafe (Results)

Hey guys!

Thanks to those that attended (Both the show on the 23rd and the 24th)! Unfortunately, we didn't get the gold..but we got the "bronze medal", we placed 3rd!!! For being our first year in the competition and having gotten that far, we're quite happy, and again, we'd like to thank you guys for helping us get to where we are now, we'd be nothing without all those who have attended our shows in the past and currently continue to do so. Heading to the studio...(Part I)

Word on the street is that we were heading into the studio sometime soon...yeah, it's true. Next Monday (July 12th) we'll be joining Brad McGrath of Brick City Sound once more, but this time we're not recording an EP, we're going for our first full length CD. This will be the first of a couple of visits, but If all goes well, we'll have it done for everyone to hear by December. Wish us luck, and we'll be sure to keep you posted on it's progress.

New Show - Shortstop From Tokyo - Unplugged and Reborn - The Fullertons (The Ashbary Coffee House)

Come one, come all to the Ashbary Coffee House (8695 Archer Avenue, Willow Springs, IL 60480) on July 3rd (Sat.)! We're going to be playing an awesome show alongside ska band Shortstop From Tokyo and The Fullertons. We promise that this will be quite an event, so come on down and check it out. The entrance fee is $7 (1 drink min.) and the show starts at 8:00pm. We hope to see you there.

Show: The Nite Light Cafe (6/19/10)

We have a show coming up on June 19th (Saturday) at the Nite Light Cafe starting at 6:00 pm ($8 entrance fee) along with the Red Sketched Picasso and others. If all goes well, we'll have a special treat in store as we'll be reviving a couple of UAR songs we haven't played in some time with a touch of electronic flavor added to the mix. Make sure to bring friends, loved ones, etc. and be ready to have a fun time.

In search of Lead Guitarist and/or Keyboardist!!!

A spot is open, and we're looking for another member! We're currently looking for someone to take over the role of lead guitarist and/or keyboardist of Unplugged and Reborn. Please do keep in mind however, that with this comes certain responsibilities one must hold themselves to such as weekly practice, being able to separate days for gigs, etc. We are looking for someone to take this as seriously as we do, however, overall we're mainly looking for someone with a full-on interest who'd be willing to just play and create new music, and have an awesome time doing so. So please, be sure to contact us (even if you have questions) about auditioning for the band at "unpluggedandreborn@gmail.com". If you're interested, we'd like to hear from you!

Hello all,

We'd like to announce the entrance of a new member into the band. Going by the name of Ryan Bast, he'll be taking over the position of lead guitarist in Unplugged and Reborn. Armed with his hollow-body and his suit case full of pedals, he was able to impress us quite an extensive amount, and soon enough, will be playing for you all. Hope to see everybody soon, and please, be sure to give Ryan a big warm welcome when you see him.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Nite Light show on Friday, we really loved having you guys there! We received photo's from a couple of people and well, here they are (thank you for them). We premiered 4 new songs (including two electronic tracks: Khandi Kids and Something) and were pleased to see everyone enjoyed them. We'll be playing a couple more shows soon, but are currently looking for a second guitarist or keyboardist as well. Show: The Nite Light (May 7, 2010)

After the long wait, we have finally announced our next gig. We will be playing May 7th (Fri.) at the Nite Light (7009 W. Ogden Avenue; Berwyn, Illinois). Doors open around 6:00 pm, price is $8. This will be a show of many firsts, including: New songs, New merch, and of course, the first show with our newest member, Christina.

Dear Mississippi...We Have Moved

Due to house renovations, our old practice room (found at Tony's house) is going to miss us as we won't be practicing there for a while...because....we have moved...to my house! I'm reminded of the "beat laboratory" from the movie Step Brothers every single time I enter my room, as in every direction you look, you find at least one musical instrument staring back at you. As we concluded our first practice there yesterday, we all agreed that this new room contains a different "feeling to it" then our previous...and is more spacious.
